UV glue, also known as shadowless glue, photosensitive glue, or ultraviolet (UV) curable glue, refers to a type of adhesive that can only be cured by ultraviolet light irradiation. It can be used as an adhesive, or as a binder for paints, coatings, and inks. UV is an abbreviation for Ultraviolet Rays. Ultraviolet (UV) light is invisible to the naked eye and is a segment of electromagnetic radiation beyond visible light, with a wavelength range of 10-400 nm. The curing principle of shadowless glue is that the photoinitiator (or photosensitizer) in the UV curable material absorbs ultraviolet light upon irradiation and generates active free radicals or cations.
